Named players

Each club names players for every team except its lowest in each league: 6 in 6s (3 men and 3 ladies) and 4 in 4s, by 1 October (rules 9b and 9f). Named players cannot play for a lower team (9g) and should play at least half their team’s matches (9c). Someone not named who plays 3 times for a team becomes named to it (9d; twice for the higher team when a club has two teams in one division, 9e). The Hub checks this from the scorecards. League rules
